8:00am - 12:00pm Amateur Radio Exams - W.C.A.R.S. VE Testing

Signups begin at 8:00am. Testing is from 9:00am - Noon.

You Must Bring the Following:

  • $10 Fee - Exact Amount - Cash Only

  • A Valid Picture ID (Driver's License, etc.)

  • Your Original and One Copy of Your Ham License and/or Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE)

  NEW FCC RULES:  All prospective new FCC licensees must obtain an FCC Registration Number (FRN) before the examination and provide that number to the VEs on the Form 605 license application. See the FCC Video at to learn how to get your FRN. Additionally, an email address is required. Applicants will receive an email from the FCC with
a link to an electronic license copy whenever a license is issued or changed. The FCC no longer provides paper license documents.

8:15am - 2:00pm Scouts Radio Merit Badge Class

Scouts are invited to earn their Radio Merit Badge and learn about Amateur Radio in this exciting class. All Scouts and Scouters (leaders) in uniform can pick up their free Scouting Admission Ticket* at the Indoor Ticket Booth.

*The free Scouting Admission Ticket is not eligible for prize drawings.
